The Body of a HorseThis is a featured page

Horses are different in their own ways. Some are deformed, some are small, some are large, some are overweight, some are underweight, and some are just the way they should be.

Horses have strong legs. The have bones and muscles under their tough skin that helps them move their legs. A horse's leg is so strong, a horse could gallop about five miles nonstop. Well, a mustang, actually. A domesticated horse would need a lot of water beforehand.

How can horses swat flies with their tails? Simple. Horses have what is called a tail bone.
A horse's tail bone is pretty strong. How else do you think horses get rid of flies? Magic? No! They use their tail bones!
