Have you ever heard of Bella Sara? Well, these horses are made up, just like Bella Sara, but they are still in our hearts.

These horses are our mascots. They will represent Horse Sanctuary until the time comes that we decide they need to be replaced.

Every month, one or two new mascots will be added.

Here are our mascots: (We don't have any pictures, sorry)

Mares

Angel:
Angel is a pure white mare with pitch black hooves. She has a long, flowing mane, tail, and forelock (bangs).
Angel is very protective, smart, elegant, strong, but most of all, fast. She has to be all of these, because she's the lead mare of all the mascots, except the lead stallion.


Stardust:
Stardust is a dusty brown color with white dapples. Her coat looks like the night sky, but the black is replaced with a dust brown.
Stardust has high spirits. She's very playful, smart, and fast. She is also very alert.


Misty:
Misty is a beautiful Arabian. Her coat is the color of gray fog. Her hooves are pitch black, and so is her mane and tail.
Misty is very understanding, trustworthy, swift, strong and vigilant.

Luna:
Luna is a beautiful silvery-white mare. When the moon reflects off her coat, she looks like a ghost. Luna is from another herd, which she had been abandoned from. She is kind, caring, helpful, and joyous.

Kilala:
Kilala is a pale golden colored mare. She has a long, flowing mane and tail, and is very joyous, but she loves to brag about herself. She has had no foals in her life.

Silania:
Silania is a mix colored horse. She has the color brown, black, red roan, gold, and white all over her body. Her mane and tail are black. She is feirce and overly proud, and thinks she qualifies to be herd leader.

Stallions

Blackstar:
Blackstar is a pure black stallion. He is the lead stallion of the Horse Sanctuary mascots.
Blackstar is very protective, smart,strong, alert, swift, fast, understanding, trustworthy and much, much more. He is always willing to protect his herd.

Buck:
Buck is a buckskin with a pure golden coat and black mane and tail.
He is very frisky, kind, trustworthy, speedy, swift and clumsy, but one thing keeps the spirit in Buck alive... a love for Stardust.
When Buck was just a colt, a stallion from a rival herd killed his father, so he was chased out of that herd. But, eventually, he found the Horse Sanctuary herd, and Blackstar let him join. When Stardust saw Buck and heard his story, she started grazing, drinking and traveling beside him. She treated him with such kindness, Buck fell in love with her.

Leonardo:
Leonardo is an old stallion. He was once a leader of a large band of stallions, that fought other stallions; evil stallions. He is a black color with a mixture of brown. His life is almost at an end. But if you send a message to PrincessVal with a poem about his bravery, you will add a year to his life. Please help him.

Foals
Crystalina:
Crystalina is Angel's filly. She is a silky-white filly. When the moon is shining brightly, Crystalina looks like her coat is a mixture of baby-blue and silvery-white. She is very confident and fun.

Thunderstorm:
Thunderstorm is a dark-grey colt with a black mane and tail. His mother is Misty. Thunderstorm is very tough, bright, brave and humorous.

Salsa: Salsa is a red-roan filly, whom is very careful. She loves to hide behind her mother, Misty, when another foal is trying to play with her. Her father is unknown. Salsa is also fiesty when it comes to play fights. She hates being picked on.

Nick:
Nick is a blue roan colt who is playful, but shy. He loves attacking his friends and getting them into trouble.
